Zola Online Academy – Lessons Cancellation, Pausing and Rescheduling Policy Effective Date: 01 January 2025

This policy applies to all students purchasing the following lesson packages: 40 Lessons, 30 Lessons, 20 Lessons, and 10 Lessons. Students are permitted to cancel or reschedule lessons a limited number of times per package, as outlined below.

  1. General Policy Overview
  • Students are granted a fixed number of free cancellations/reschedules per package. Once the free allowance is exhausted, cancellations or rescheduling will not be permitted, and missed lessons will be marked as completed and deducted from the package.
  • This policy ensures fairness to tutors and proper scheduling for all students.
  1. Free Cancellations/Reschedules Per Package
  • 40 Lessons Package: 10 free cancellations or reschedules
  • 30 Lessons Package: 5 free cancellations or reschedules
  • 20 Lessons Package: 3 free cancellations or reschedules
  • 10 Lessons Package: 1 free cancellation or reschedule
  1. Cancellation and Rescheduling Rules

Advance Notice

  • Students must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson without it being marked as completed.
  • Requests made less than 24 hours in advance will result in the lesson being considered completed and deducted from the package.

Process for Cancellation or Rescheduling

  • All requests must be submitted via:
    • Email: info@zolalearningacademy.com
    • Notify the Administrator via Whatsapp.
    • Zola Online Tuition Portal: Log in and submit a cancellation/rescheduling request.

Limitations on Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Once the free allowance of cancellations/reschedules for the package is used, students may no longer cancel or reschedule lessons. Any missed or unattended lessons will be marked as completed.
  1. Package Validity Period

Students must complete all lessons within the validity period of their purchased package:

  • 40 Lessons Package: 4 months
  • 30 Lessons Package: 3 months
  • 20 Lessons Package: 2 months
  • 10 Lessons Package: 1 month

Unused lessons after the validity period will be forfeited and are non-refundable or non-transferable.

  1. Missed or Late Cancellation Lessons
  • Lessons missed without notice or with less than 24 hours’ notice will be considered completed and deducted from the package.
  1. Exceptional Circumstances
  • In the case of medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances, students may request special consideration for cancellations or rescheduling beyond their free allowance. Documentation may be required, and requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  1. Membership Pause Policy

In addition to cancellations, you are allowed to temporarily pause your membership, subject to the following conditions based on your package:

  • 40 Lessons Package: Pause up to 2 times, each lasting no more than 15 days.
  • 20 Lessons Package: Pause 1 time for up to 8 days.
  • 10 Lessons Package: Pausing is not permitted due to the limited number of sessions.

Key Points:

  • Pauses do not carry forward upon package renewal.
  • If you upgrade to a higher package, you will gain access to the pause benefits of the new package.

 

Important Notes on Pausing Membership

  • Pausing your membership will result in the loss of your current time slot and tutor assignment.
  • When you resume your lessons, you may be assigned a different tutor or time slot. While efforts will be made to accommodate your original preferences, they cannot be guaranteed.
